The latter had him away from the public eye for almost two years, but now, fans across the world are rejoicing as the oldest member of the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/bts-style-evolution-kpop-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">group</a> has shown up in countless new projects. The latest? His freshly announced ambassadorship with Italian luxury label, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gucci-relaunches-signature-horsebit-fine-jewelry-collection-20th-anniversary-celebration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gucci</a>.
Although it had been speculated on by fans for some time, the news became official after a highly-anticipated announcement from Gucci. The label's creative director, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gucci-ancora-campaign-sabato-de-sarno-spring-summer-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sabato De Sarno</a>, remarked, "I am very excited to welcome Jin as Global Brand Ambassador. His warm and kind personality is truly magnetic, and his style is simply unique. He is a generous and extraordinary artist who is able to move people with his music, which makes us even more honoured to share this journey with him.&rdquo; As a global brand ambassador, Jin is slated to work with De Sarno on future campaigns as a face of the maison. He joins an illustrious list of Gucci family members including <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/everything-you-need-to-know-about-kpop-group-newjeans-danielle-hanni" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NewJeans</a>' Hanni, IU, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/anna-kalinskaya-tennis-jannik-sinner-girlfriend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jannik Sinner</a>, Alia Bhatt, and many more&nbsp;

Jin echoed De Sarno's sentiments. When asked about his new role, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/best-dressed-k-pop-stars-bts-blackpink-jackson-wang" target="_blank" rel="noopener">idol</a> said in a statement, &ldquo;Gucci is an iconic brand with a long-standing heritage and modernity. This announcement comes after news broke that Jin was appointed the global brand ambassador of FRED Jewelry, proving his undeniable presence in the fashion realm with no signs of slowing down.&nbsp;
