Balmain Is Coming Back to Couture

Mark your calendars for this January.

The semi-annual global summit of all things fashion, Paris's famed Haute Couture week, is being joined by a fresh face (well, sort of). Olivier Rousteing, the Creative Director behind the French fashion house Balmain, announced this morning that he's revitalizing their Haute Couture division at WWD's Retail & Apparel CEO Summit, WWD reports.

Although even the brand's most recent Haute Couture collections are now vintage, they're certainly no stranger to the glitz of the sector. Their last collection was put out by then-Creative Director Oscar de la Renta in 2002. And while more is in the pipeline in terms of beauty and accessory endeavors, there's no telling where the brand's Parisian past will take it in the future.
