Austin Butler is Cartier’s Newest Ambassador

Cartier has just announced Austin Butler as its newest ambassador for North America. The actor joins newly minted global brand ambassadors Irish actor Paul Mescal and Korean popstar Jisoo from Blackpink. 

Just in time for the 75th Cannes Film Festival, the announcement synced up with the premiere of Elvis, the biopic based on the King of Rock & Roll’s rise to fame, which stars Butler as the celebrated performer. Directed by Baz Luhrmann, the film co-stars Tom Hanks and is expected to hit theatres on June 24.

Hailed for his acting prowess and classy-chic sense of fashion, Butler will attend exclusive Cartier events and wear Cartier creations on red carpets. Arnaud Carrez, Cartier’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer says: “As a talented actor, Austin’s bold approach to life and unique sense of style are inherently aligned with our core values here at Cartier.”

A pillar of contemporary charm, Butler has long seen himself as an admirer of the House, citing their creativity and innovation in particular. The actor goes on: “I’m very much looking forward to the work we will be doing together in the future.”
