Brussels-born designer and silhouette expert Anthony Vaccarello has proven himself to be one of the most memorable names in fashion. Though he began his educational journey studying sculpture at La Cambre in Brussels, his artistically-centered mind drew him to the garment work of Rei Kawakubo, sparking his love for fashion design.

Working with Karl Lagerfeld on Fendi’s fur line in 2006 and launching his own line of sleek silhouettes upon his move to Paris in 2008 sparked an intrigue for Vacarello among celebrities and style icons such as Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lopez.

As his name spread throughout the world of fashion in a frame of elegance and sexy sophistication, Vaccarello kicked-off his capsule collection for Versace, eventually becoming the creative director of the sister brand, Versus Versace, in early 2015.

Since taking up the role of creative director at Yves Saint Laurent in 2016, Vaccarello has made the label his own. Reimagining the French brand with his own vision of contemporary Parisian elegance, Vaccarello continues to create his own beauty within the fashion house.
