The British luxury label returns to its roots with a grunge-chic campaign.

For <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/alexander-mcqueen-fall-winter-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alexander McQueen</a>'s latest campaign, the brand&mdash;and its new creative director, Se&aacute;n McGirr&mdash;sought to capture London's uniquely chaotic, but utterly chic essence.&nbsp;
"McQueen is a London-born brand and has always represented an idea of London that I&rsquo;m deeply attached to. It has a very visceral kind of energy, driven by the eclectic cast of characters you see here," said McGirr. "I want to bring that energy to life with the rigor and raw feeling that makes the city&rsquo;s air hum, leaning deep into its tensions&mdash;something that feels poetic and primal; powerful and real. Something that comes from people. I want to bring light to that."
Utilizing voluminous shaggy shearling, buttery smooth leather, and razor-sharp tailoring, the label drew on the energy of youth and the singular stylistic sense that the city of London is home to. Ultra-chic and teeming with a sense of power, the campaign embodies everything about the label fans have come to know and appreciate over the years with a subtle contemporary twist by the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/alexander-mcqueen-sean-mcgirr-preview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">new creative director</a>.&nbsp;
Rife with a vibrant, renegade glamour, the Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2024 campaign employs design details like wild <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/trend-alert-fringe" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fringed</a> leather, sleek suiting, and cool metallic hardware. Modern sensibilities, seen in cropped minidresses and pointed leather boots, complement the sprawling, cobblestone streets of East London. Extra hints of elegance and raw opulence appear in the addition of fur trim, glistening studded stones, and oversized sunglasses. Poetic, sensual, and full of drama, the collection evokes the spirit at the very core of the label.
While the garments themselves capture plenty of dramatic flair, accessories and shoes encapsulate the rebellious stylistic spirit of London, as seen in the sleek, sumptuous leather handbags, hoof boots, and fringed <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/the-best-mens-loafers-to-go-anywhere-this-summer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">loafers</a>.&nbsp;
