The campaign features former U.S. athletes and teammates who have won a corresponding number of Olympic gold medals as there are days remaining until the launch. The first image of the campaign is of volleyball athletes Kerri Walsh Jennings & Misty May-Treanor who have won gold medals at the 2004, 2008, and 2012 olympics.
Beams
Japanese streetwear brand Beams released a line of apparel and accessories that coincides with the beginning of the event. The collection features oversized silhouettes and graphic Olympic motifs that are meant to highlight "unity in diversity," per the brand.
Omega
Luxury Swiss watchmaker Omega has a storied history with the Games, as the official timekeeper of the Olympics sine 1932. To honor this, the brand has crafted a new Seamaster Aqua Terra watch inspired by the signifier of Olympic excellence: the gold medal. Made in full 18K yellow gold, the two sizes, 38mm or 41mm, are completed with a navy leather band and blue ceramic dials that are engraved with a nod to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics emblem.
