Dominican fashion designer Raul Lopez reminds us that individuality and punk rock never die in the newest collection.&nbsp;

In <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/laur-ana-bag-zacapa-rum-collaboration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Luar</a>&rsquo;s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, "En Boca Qued&oacute;," which translates to, "In your mouth, my name stays," Raul Lopez embraces a newfound focus, choosing to let the clothes speak louder than the word "identity."
At the Rockefeller Building, Lopez showcased a collection rooted in craft and self-discovery. Using materials almost as metaphors, the collection tells his story of self-discovery and acceptance over the years. Specific materials like crustacean leather emphasize his hard outer shell while the contrast of Italian wool displays his vulnerable inner self.&nbsp;
Past collections for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/luar-fall-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Luar</a> have shown Lopez's edge and appreciation for the unknown, using dark and eccentric silhouettes. Stepping out of his comfort zone, Luar adds something new to his collection: Shoes. A first for the brand, Luar introduced leather clogs, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/kitten-heel-boots" target="_blank" rel="noopener">kitten-heeled</a> knee-high boots, and oxford loafers.
As for accessories, Luar's signature Ana bag gets a bold new counterpart&mdash;the Yahaira, a medium-sized angular statement bag. The Alexis, a more refined version of the Fall/Winter 2024 backpack, joins the lineup alongside an oversized crossbody messenger bag, all of which are 100% leather.&nbsp;
Complementing the star power and energy the collection brings, the front row was equally as impressive. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/young-photos-madonna-80s-birthday" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Madonna</a>, Ice Spice, Offset, and Tinashe were just a few big names to watch the show in the middle of Rockefeller Center.&nbsp;
