Kim Jones' latest couture collection for Fendi's Spring/Summer 2022 show offers a classic Italian style for the iconic brand.
Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2022 Haute Couture collection revealed an array of Renaissance-inspired creations with a focus on architecture and sculpture. Long trains, cape dresses, and even separates walked the runway as Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear Collections Kim Jones explored high-low hemlines. With a focus on structure—the set itself displayed a floating skeleton of arches and columns—many of the silhouettes were long and lean, accentuated by vertical lines and embellishments. High-shine beaded looks added to the couture-level adornment in the collection, which were mirrored by the models’ rhinestone-dotted faces.
