Underneath the lights of the Eiffel Tower, Anthony Vaccarello luxuriates the marbled runway with Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2023 collection in an infusion of two decades, the '80s and the '90s. Saint Laurent is sensuality by definition and aesthetically minimalistic, thus Vaccarello showed versatility in the pieces that can take you from day to night.

Orchestral music played as the models strutted through the opulent Jardins du Trocadéro and Fontaine de Varsovie. Many ensembles were paired with the “capuche,” the house founder’s favorite style. Dramatic and exaggerated '80s shoulders and pillared silhouettes became a head-turn piece of the night. In usual form, leather jackets were seen everywhere in the show, an iconic style that is synonymous with Vaccarello's style. The sophistication of the garments, fit for Parisian nights, came in floor-length coats, fitted dresses, and elegant craftsmanship. One of the showstoppers of the runway was the last piece, a black leather trench coat that embodies the mystical appeal of Saint Laurent.
