Hermès Goes Outdoors for Spring/Summer 2023
The new Hermès collection designed by Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski is inspired by the beauty of the outdoors.
Among the French talents of the fashion industry, there is certainly Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, the designer behind Hermès's exciting collections since 2015. The Maison's Spring/Summer 2023 show is the story of an outdoor universe made up of travel and a very comfortable freedom. This typically French vision is not without its charm and its very refined and minimal allure. Among the places of inspiration are Patagonia, Kenya, and Alaska, the trip was chosen to represent our day-by-day existence.
For this collection, Vanhee-Cybulski used technical fabrics, elastic cords, zips, and a natural color palette that seems to vary from white to brown to the brand's emblematic orange. Among the accessories and footwear to emerge are platform sandals and bucket bags in two different colors, almost similar to a bottle cage.
Returning to color, the theme of the season is playing with many different shades of colors. The earthy tones, in addition to the bright sunset shades, are undoubtedly the collection's protagonists.
