From monochrome to vibrant, Givenchy Creative Director Matthew M. Williams includes an array of designs in his newest Fall/Winter 2023 menswear collection.
In June 2020, Matthew M. Williams took on the role of Creative Director for Givenchy. Since then, he has played with a variety of textures, colors, and great accessories, and Givenchy Men's Fall/Winter 2023 collection is no exception.
The first few looks are all about simplicity and clean silhouettes, but by the end, there's a clear shift towards a more industrial, street-style approach. Williams is a master of blending the formal with the casual, so it's no surprise that this season's collection shows just that. There are definitely some memorable pieces, such as the magenta fur jacket and the metallic puffer coat. This season's collection emphasized a more monochromatic color palette, with splashes of vibrant pinks, greens, and purples. Business definitely meets playful in this year's collection.
Many top celebrities attended the Givenchy show as well, displaying some of their favorite pieces. Among them were J Balvin, Polo G, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, and Fai Khadra.
