Copenhagen Fashion Week has increasingly become an ultimate source of fresh wardrobe inspiration, especially in street style looks that offer their own unique sartorial flavor that's unlike cities in the main circuit (like New York and Paris, for example). Fashion lovers and Pinterest boards alike take cues from guests in the Danish city that's known for its keen eye for fashion-forward trends, where bold statements and playful details reign supreme. The best street style of the season stays true to this flair.

This season, Copenhagen Fashion Week street style looks embodied the eclectic style the city is known to embrace, alongside a little bit of chic impracticality. Taking the cake this season was the ever-present no-pants look, lace tights, micro mini bags, and a bountiful curation of bag charms. While some of these trends have proven their staying power, new ones emerged to shake up the scene. Keep scrolling to some standout styles dominating street style so far at the Fall/Winter 2025 shows.

No Pants and Lace Tights

The no-pants trend has been making waves over the past year, with more fashion enthusiasts embracing bold, body-positive dressing. Similar to the sheer dressing trend, what once seemed daring has now become a go-to styling choice, proving that showing a little extra leg is just another fun way to nail self-expression. At Copenhagen Fashion Week, this look took on some fresh twists, with attendees experimenting with textures and layers.

This season, the no-pants aesthetic came in many forms, from sheer lace and colorful tights worn under structured blazers to micro shorts and statement underwear peeking from beneath oversized coats. Some fashion risk-takers opted for a classic trench coat over nothing but tights, creating a sleek, elongated silhouette. Whether styled with knee-high boots or a kitten heel, this trend continues to evolve. Pants, it seems, are officially optional in 2025.

Bag Charms and Micro Bags

One of the standout accessories this season was bag charms, and the more, the better. At every turn in Copenhagen Fashion Week street style, it's easy to find a handbag decked out with several quirky, maximalist bag charms, from cartoon characters like Snoopy to micro mini bags themselves. Altogether, this creates a layered effect. Some wore the incredibly impractical (maybe it fits a single mint?) micro bag alone.

Cow Print

This season, showgoers are swapping out the reigning cheetah and leopard prints of late (thanks, mob wife trend) for something a little more barnyard-inspired. Cow print has been spotted on everything from plush fur coats to structured trench coats. And this Western-tinged pattern was a favorite among fashion enthusiasts braving the Copenhagen chill. The graphic, high-contrast print adds an effortlessly cool edge to any outfit while still feeling classic and wearable.

What makes cow print outerwear so appealing is its perfect blend of statement and practicality. As temperatures drop, fashion lovers are leaning into bold animal prints that double as a cozy essential. Whether layered over a monochrome ensemble or mixed with other textures like leather and knits, cow print coats are proving to be the season’s must-have outerwear, ensuring this trend isn’t just a fleeting moment but a cold-weather staple.

Balaclavas and Headscarves

Balaclavas, popular amongst skiers and for extreme winter conditions, have officially cemented themselves as a fashion girl's cold-weather staple. They provide both function and flair and are seen in knit textures and even fur-trimmed variations. Meanwhile, headscarves offered a more timeless appeal, with silk versions tied under the chin giving off an old Hollywood-meets-modern-streetwear aesthetic.  Copenhagen embraced these cozy yet stylish accessories this season, making them a standout street style trend. Whether wrapped tightly for a sleek, minimalist effect or draped effortlessly over the hair for a vintage-inspired feel, these head coverings added an extra layer of warmth while elevating every ensemble.
