Celine Reveals Men's 'Boy Doll' Collection for Fall/Winter 2022
Discover the luxury fashion house's latest men's collection, the embodiment of rock 'n' roll glam.
Filmed by Creative Director Hedi Slimane, the video for Celine Men's Fall/Winter 2022 collection, titled "Boy Doll," was shot in L’Olympia de Paris, the oldest music hall in the city. The venue first opened its doors in 1893 and has since hosted prestigious operas, ballets, musical performances, and now, fashion shows.
The collection was a perfect representation of punk glamor: an homage to the iconic L’Olympia which has hosted some of the world's most celebrated rock stars including Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, and many more. The collection, perfectly in tune with the brand’s contemporary aesthetic, contains some of Slimane’s finest work at the French luxury house.
Boxy jackets were paired with flared or distressed leather pants and complemented with iridescent pinstripes. Scintillating silver and gold-fringed jackets stole the show.
New York artist Banks Violette, who has collaborated with Slimane in the past, had his art featured on three looks from the collection. His work appeared on an oversized leather teddy jacket, a leather biker jacket with a white horse on the back, and on cropped white tank tops.
The show's pop-punk theme was completed with cruiser boots, knee-high cowboy boots, and chunky platform shoes, and all outfits were enhanced by the accompanying Boy Doll jewelry collection.
