Just as Paris Fashion Week came to a close, Burberry held an off-the-schedule runway show with a laundry list of A-list attendees.

Just days after the final models way their way across the Paris Fashion Week catwalks, Burberry hosted an off-schedule fashion show to showcase its Fall/Winter 2022 collection.

In the last two years, many designers have noted how the pandemic has influenced their collections. As people around the world were told to stay home, many reconnected or reinforced their relationships with family, friends, and neighbors. This renewed focus on interpersonal relationships is at the basis of Creative Director Riccardo Tisci's latest collection in which he narrows in on how we, as individuals, function within a family or community.

"It was important for me to explore what it means to belong, how our roots influence our identity and how the power of community and togetherness is what truly brings meaning to the world," said Tisci. "Therefore, I wanted this collection to convey that intensity of feeling and to celebrate not only coming together, but the city in which we come together today; the city in which Burberry grew and established a family."

While Burberry has always been closely tied to its British roots, this season, Tisci was particularly inspired by his own community in London. "To me, London is a place of dreams, a capital building on its heritage and unified by its diverse community and an attitude of moving beyond boundaries – of pursuing limitless potential."

He continued, "The collection embodies an intangible essence that is Britishness, a unique fusion of honouring the beauty of the past, whilst also remaining focussed on the future with thankfulness, hope and love."

While the runway featured top models such as Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Bella Hadid, the spotlight also shined on the stars seated in the front row. The guest list included Adam Driver, Carla Bruni, Davido, Devon Lee Carlson, Dixie D’Amelio, Eiza Gonzalez, Eliza Douglas, Honey Dijon, Jacob Elordi, Jaime Xie, Kate Moss, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Marina Ruy Barbosa, Naomi Campbell, Rebecca Hall, Role Model, Slim Soledad, and Simone Ashley, and more.
