Kim Kardashian West Launched a Fragrance With the Help of Violet Grey

It just might be your next new favorite.

Since Kim Kardashian West started teasing the launch of her fragrance, beauty lovers and fans of hers alike have been looking forward to its launch, and last night it finally happened. Violet Grey, a site that curates and sells beauty industry favorites, partnered with her for the event, and will be selling the fragrance in their Melrose Place store for a limited time as well.

The scent is also available in three iterations online, internationally, starting today: Citrus Gardenia, Gardenia Oud, and the central scent Crystal Gardenia. Kardashian West created it in tandem with lauded fragrance house Givaudan, and the packaging design was done by Hampton Beauty. Integrating crystals into the packaging was purportedly key, as Kim has been using healing crystals ever since the incident in Paris last year.

She didn't pull gardenia from out of thin air, either. "Growing up, my father would always bring me back a fragrance from his business trips and that started my fragrance collection. One that I received after a trip to New York City smelled like Gardenias and I loved it. It’s one that I still have and I treasure the memories that it evokes when I see the bottle," she said in a statement.
