Jennifer Lopez to Launch New Beauty Line at NYE Virtual After Party
Jennifer Lopez fans rejoice! The legendary performer is ringing in 2021 with the launch of her new skincare company JLO Beauty during the virtual after party for her New Year's Rockin' Eve performance. The event will begin at midnight EST, via Zoom, for one thousand of her biggest fans, coinciding with the line's debut drop.
Those hoping to get Lopez's ageless skin will find an array of products that promise a more radiant and glowing complexion, including the most expensive item of the bunch, the That JLO Glow serum which retails for $118. Others products from the line include a gel cream cleanser, hyaluronic acid-infused moisturizer, and more.
The singer spoke to Us Weekly about the launch party and her optimism for the new year. “I love New Year’s Eve because it’s a fresh start, a chance to wash away the past and welcome the new, full of hope and limitless possibilities," she explained. "This year, so many of us have learned that we need to take time out for ourselves and practice self-care, from our mental health to our physical."
She continued, "The Wash Away 2020 Virtual After Party is a chance for all of us to get together and celebrate with a literal and symbolic cleanse of 2020 (including my New Year’s Eve performance makeup!) while also heralding in the launch JLO Beauty with many of my favorite people."
To join the fun, fans must sign up for Lopez's Community messages. Prior to the digital get-together, she will text a link to fans, which will accept up to one thousand party goers on a first-come, first-serve basis. More celebratory content about JLO Beauty and her new song "In the Morning" will be available on the Triller app (the US solution to President Trump's TikTok ban) throughout the evening.
JLO Beauty will be available online at midnight EST January 1 or at Sephora January 14.
