We get it, for months you've probably been wearing sweatpants, or maybe even pillow dresses. As we are hopefully looking towards an ending to our current quarantine this summer, some of us may need to ease back into actually doing our hair everyday in a socially acceptable manner.

Luckily, we spoke to hairstylist and makeup artist Charlotte Dahan who gave us 3 quick and easy bohemian hairstyles to try when acclimating back into society come summer. Dahan was inspired by the boho hairstyles straight from the latest runway, and has simplified them so they are easy to recreate at home. A perfectly messy braid, a destructured ponytail and asymmetrical waves are Dahan's go-to hairstyles that can be achieved in just a few minutes, and are frequently spotted at fashion shows and on celebrities. For some easy-to-follow instructions on your next essential bohemian hairstyles, see below for Dahan's words of wisdom.

Messy Braid

Preparation time: 4 minutes

"Once your hair is dry and untangled, spray it with a pigmented dry shampoo (ideally from the brand Osis +), to give volume and a good capillary texture. Gather your usual amount of hair for a braid, but leave aside a good part of your front strands. While working the sections of hair into the braid, leave out a few strands of hair from twist, which will work all the more if you have a ombré hair. Finally, wind the extra strands of hair you left out on the side of your head to the top of the braid. The short wisps will create the perfect effortless feeling  that enhances this classic look, guaranteeing the desired bohemian effect. "

Asymmetrical Waves

Preparation time: 7 minutes

"We have seen this hairstyle a lot on red carpets, but it works very well for everyday as well. On a head of wavy hair as a base, make a part in your hair directed slightly sideways based on the tip of one of your eyebrows. On the smaller section of hair, closest to the ear, work in one cornrow behind your ear. You can do this by adding hair with each movement, to the nape of the neck, then finish on a traditional braid. Tie with an elastic band that merges with the color of your hair. Loosen the waves on the larger section of your hair by hand so that it is loose, then possibly integrate small rings for a rock touch.
