Beyoncé Reveals Her Wash Day Hair Routine
The artist shares her newest haircare routine using her brand Cécred's award-winning products.
Beyoncé's haircare brand Cécred is receving all the hype lately. After hard launching the brand with her mom Tina Knowles in February, fans were quick to post reviews showing their haircare routines with their favorite award-winning Cécred products. On April 22, Beyoncé finally shared her own hairwash routine to Instagram, saying, "Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for your hair, I think it's about time I show you all what it does for my hair."
In 2023, the singer hinted her new brand was in the making by sharing a mirror picture with her natural curls and some test products in the background. Beyoncé has served pretty much every hairstyle, and has an extensive hair evolution. In the early 2000s, she was known for rocking tight curls in a half ponytail, as well as letting her hair loose with both soft and big, voluminous curls. In 2015, she was mostly seen with wavy hair, then opted to keep it straight in recent years. Her signature warm honey-blond color with an array of hairsyles has now become her staple look, serving as inspiration for everyone's next hair salon visit.
In Cécred's most recent post, Beyoncé shared, "The stigma is that people who wear wigs don't have long and healthy hair." The artist is here to destigmatize that with her latest haircare routine showing her long, healthy hair.
The artist's routine consists of fewer steps than you may think. She starts by lathering her hair with Cécred's hydrating shampoo, which strengthens hair with hylauronic acid.
The cleanse is followed by the Fermented Rice & Rose Protein routine. The two-step ritual includes applying the fermented rice and rose protein powder, followed by a Silk Rinse for softness and shine.
After, she adds the Moisturizing Deep Conditioner, which is infused with Cécred's African oil blend and shea butter for extra hydration.
Some Moisture Seal Lotion is also applied before using heat, which is supposed to seal, smooth, and help style hair.
Beyoncé shares she's an avid lover of blowdrying her hair on medium heat—she tries to stay away from as much heat as possible and uses the "old school pressing comb" to finalize her routine. The Cécred co-founder also announced her hair has never grown so long or been so moisturized. "I managed to keep my texture and my curls even with my hair so blond, and my hair is flourishing," she said.
