Fans of Florence Welch know her as a lover of all things lyrical and enchanting. Her work as the frontwoman of Florence and the Machine involves spinning fantastical tales both sonically and visually (most often in Gucci), but it is perhaps her imaginative lyrics that have made her such a celebrated indie icon. Each song is a fable, reminding listeners that music is as much poetry as it is an auditory experience.

It should come as little surprise, then, that the musician took to Instagram this morning to announce that she will be releasing a book of poetry and collected lyrics called Useless Magic. It will be published via Penguin Books sometime in 2018. The social media share came with some artwork that may or may not be the book's cover. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more on the release.

For those who can't wait for a little literary love from Welch, we suggest joining her unofficial official book club, Between Two Books.
